The CWU Eastern Region Health and Safety Forum is dedicated raise health and safety standards for our members in their workplaces and in general.
We aim to promote the benefits of good health and safety organisation and management in the communications industry and offer support through our Safety Representatives. This includes joint employer/safety representative consultation in order to promptly identify risks and appropriate remedial actions to address health and safety issues and workplace hazards.
NHS Needs More Blood and Organ Donors
In England, somewhere in the region of 8,000 blood transfusions are carried out every day and more than 10,000 people in the UK currently need an organ transplant.
